Dr. Coon Presents 5-Year Surpass Study Results at Society of Neurointerventional Surgery 2021 National Meeting

July 28, 2021 – Dr. Coon took to the podium to share the long-term results of the SCENT study, the largest prospective flow diversion study (180 patients) ever performed. This international trial with 25 sites demonstrated the safety of the Surpass Flow Diverter and led to its FDA approval here in the United States. Dr. Coon served as the PI of the trial at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital and led the trial with 27 patients successfully enrolled.
